And health sector is one of those areas which is very important considering the situation. In the field of medicine, medical appointment(Patients) and consultation is required. In this area, several studies have been carried out whereby some studies allow a patient to book an appointment with a specific doctor, and most of these studies only handle the work's appointment section. The research work has played a significant role in the field of medicine, allowing the patient to arrange appointments with a doctor in real time and also enabling the patient and doctors to come online to chat and connect together. In addition, the patient can make an appointment using mobile application to see the doctors, patients and nurses. The purpose of the mobile application is to allow patients to register with a clinic or hospital, book a personal appointments and check their medical reports history.

4.)The health sector is considered to be one of the most essential service sectors in our day-to-day life. Without the health sector, the human sector would cease to exist eventually. The need for health facilities is growing significantly. And there are parts of our world where there’s a huge lack of these basic needs. As Sri Lankans, we fortunate to have these services provided to us by the state for free. There are several hospitals established in Sri Lanka throughout the country and these hospitals and doctors help keep the country safe from various diseases as well as heal people who get wounded from various accidents or diseases. These people take care of the entire human race. The recent Covid-19 outbreak is the best example to show that without the health sector, the world would die a slow death. This Covid-19 virus was released to the world back in early 2020 and no one had seen such a deadly virus apart from the Ebola virus. The world wasn’t prepared for such an outbreak. There was no medicine or vaccines for this virus as this was the first time the world had seen it. People started dying around the entire world and the world leaders imposed curfew within their countries. And travelling from one country to another was also banned. The world got stuck. People were forced to stay at home for their good for the first time in their life. The supply chains were disrupted as well. But the world could not be stuck for a long time. It has to move forward. Especially in the health sector. This is one of the crucial facilities in any country. But with all the restrictions in all the countries, there was no way for patients to travel to hospitals for their regular check-ups or any other check-up with their doctor. This affected third world countries like Sri Lanka a bit more seriously than it did the other countries. Sri Lankan hospitals currently don’t have any online solutions that would allow the patients to make appointments online with any doctor that they want and make payments. If there was such a solution, the patient would only have to travel to P a g e | 18 the hospital once and that is for the actual appointment. And they will not be dealing with money as well. This project does not have a real client. It is merely a solution for a very specific problem scenario that has been identified by many experts and highlighted by the general public during these recent times starting from the early 2020s. These difficult times showed the countries that they are not entirely ready for a pandemic like this. This solution is aimed at one of the many issues that were identified in a country’s infrastructure.
